Often overlooked, bicycles are a great resource for preppers and people who may need to “take it on the lamb” in a bugout situation.

Personally, I carry a bicycle in my car everywhere I go if I can… I figure if I need to get back home, it’s going to be a lot easier to do on a bike than it is by walking.
So many people disregard the bicycle as a prep and plan on “bugging out on foot”… and yet they plan on carrying around backpacks so heavy that the people carrying them will be exhausted within just a couple of miles of walking.
Riding (or even pushing) a bicycle is a MUCH easier way of getting heavy loads from point A to point B. It’s also a lot faster.
Most people would struggle to walk 25 miles in a day, but most people could bicycle three to four times that distance if they had to in relatively flat terrain. I know I get along much better on bicycle than I ever would on foot.
Give the show a listen, and tell us what you think.
Do you have a link for the tricycle? I am curious about that.
http://www.worksmancycles.com/recreational-trikes.html should do it. His is an adult three wheeler. It’s built like a *tank*.
Thanks!
