The Guardian has several articles that chronicle the recent DPRK nuclear developments I recommend you read after watching some of videos with Dr. Peter V. Pry.
Why would you detonate a nuclear bomb in the atmosphere? That is how you create the most potential damage to vital infrastructure. A nuclear detonation 300 km in the atmosphere somewhere over the central part of the US would produce an electromagnetic pulse (EMP). The result would be instantaneous shut down almost every electrical system in North America. Every one of our critical infrastructures in the US are dependent upon one – electricity.
I don’t know how we can interpret North Korea’s statements and actions as anything other than a direct threat to end our civilization.
Dr. Peter Pry was the United State’s lead analyst of EMPs. His entire professional career has been spent studying Weapons of Mass Destruction – particularly nuclear. He is the person who proved Israel developed the nuclear bomb (which they don’t admit). He tells us that Russians personally came to the US to tell us that they have developed a “super EMP” and that they “accidentally” gave the plans to North Korea. At least we know the threat we face. Well, heck. Let’s just sell them 20% of our nation’s uranium. Thank you HRC (with whom I will not share my preps).
Dr. Pry explains why North Korea’s recent “small” nuclear tests are a further indication of their pursuit of an EMP. EMPs don’t require large nuclear bombs. They require the right kind of bomb that produces gamma rays. He further shows the DPRK’s satellites are at the perfect orbit for an EMP attack to impact the entire continental US (12:07 on the first video).
There are several videos of Dr. Pry on YouTube. This is the worst case scenario for our society. According to Dr. Pry and his colleagues, our society will be thrown back to the 19th century technologically and 90% of Americans will die of disease, starvation and social chaos.
